IABC Tampa Bay Bronze Quill Awards Eligibility

Review the following to determine eligibility for the program and for details about entering.

IABC Tampa Bay’s Bronze Quill Award competition is open to all eligible entrants in Florida. Eligible entrants include both IABC members and nonmembers.

Furthermore, entries must follow these requirements:

  • The work must have been produced or produced measurable results in the award year (January 1 - December 31, 2007).
  • Work must be original. It cannot be syndicated, borrowed, reprinted, or stock material.
  • The entrant must have had direct and primary involvement in implementing the project, regardless of the location of the client or organization
  • Entries must be focused on organizational communication.
  • The entrant’s organization or client must provide written approval of the entry.
  • Work done for IABC or the IABC Research Foundation at the international, district, and chapter level is not eligible.
  • Entries must comply with IABC’s code of ethics.

Entries may be entered in as many different categories as apply, but not more than once in the same cateogry (i.e. submitting to 1.1 and 2.1 is acceptable, but submitting to 1.1 and 1.3 is not). You may submit as many entries as you wish, but separate fees and entry forms apply for each entry. If your entry is submitted to the wrong category, you risk disqualification. Entry fees will not be refunded.
