Join IABC Tampa Bay Thursday, July 15, for an evening of entertainment, socializing, learning, and culture.
We’ll begin our evening at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour at the stunning new Tampa Museum of Art. The social hour will feature libations and hors d’oeuvres catered by the Museum’s Café Sono.
A presentation by Andrea Graham, Stageworks Theatre Board president, and Nancy Kipnis, Tampa Museum of Art public relations consultant, will follow. Andrea and Nancy will reveal how they co-promote their nonprofit organizations and offer tips on how to develop more effective community relations.
At 7 p.m., you can tour the museum exhibits, shop the museum store or stroll the picturesque Riverwalk. When you’ve had your fill of visual stimulation, walk over to the first-class Straz Center for the Performing Arts for more socializing and imbibing.
The evening will culminate at 8 p.m. with a Stageworks performance of As Bees in Honey Drown, a comedy by Douglas Carter Beane, at the Shimberg Playhouse, Straz Center. The play will end about 10:15 p.m.
This entire evening of entertainment and professional development will be yours for the single price of $35. This package includes food and one free drink during the social hour, the educational program, museum admission, and the Stageworks performance. Nonmembers can join the fun for a package price of $40. Bring a friend or significant other for this night out on the town. If you prefer to end the night early, you can still attend the social hour and program at the Museum of Art for $25 for members, $30 nonmembers.
